Black Tea Society begins in the light.
Bergamot, mint, and coriander create a bright, crystalline opening, lifted by the clean aromatic character of black tea. It feels polished and effortless at first — graceful, composed, almost welcoming.
But brightness can be deceptive.
As the fragrance develops, rose, tobacco, and clove bud begin to disturb its refinement. Gunpowder appears as a faint metallic tension beneath the florals and spice, suggesting that something more dangerous has been present from the beginning.
Smoked oak, leather, amber, and Virginia cedar deepen the composition without extinguishing its clarity. The result is not heavy or overtly dark, but controlled and quietly unsettling — a fragrance that wears its elegance like a disguise.
