Torn Ledger is steeped in tradition—an echo of private libraries, iron-bound doors, and ledgers kept by hand rather than machine. The opening is deliberate and composed: a reserved lift of bergamot, cooled by the austere clarity of eucalyptus and a faint trace of mint, like clean air moving through stone and wood.
The heart is firmly grounded in vetiver and cedar, dry and dignified, evoking aged timbers and timeworn floors. Sandalwood lends a quiet refinement, smoothing the structure without softening its resolve. As the fragrance settles, amber and guaiac wood emerge with a resinous warmth—smoked, polished, and darkened by age—before giving way to a measured base of oud, deep and understated, never ostentatious.
